Power of the Poppy
Poppies have long fascinated artists with their vibrant colors, delicate petals, and of course, the symbolic meanings.
Throughout art history, they have represented life, death, remembrance, and even sleep (opium!).
Nov. 10 is a perfect opportunity to dig into the history of the powerful poppy and create a painting to mark the occasion.
